There are places that impress — and then there are places that stay with you. Our Dolce Vita Ladies Club brunch at San Tomassini Heritage Hotel in the heart of Istria belonged to the latter.

Set among the rolling hills, San Tomassini is not simply a hotel, but a private heritage estate, thoughtfully restored and reserved primarily for its guests. With only a limited number of rooms, it offers a rare sense of intimacy — quiet, refined, and deeply personal.

The estate carries over a century of history. Once a lively family winery, it was a place of community — where neighbours gathered, worked, and shared everyday life.

When the Tomasini family discovered the house, it was not just its beauty that drew them in, but its energy. That same spirit remains today, quietly woven into every space.
